Our Immigration practice areas include Visas, Green Cards, and Citizenship.  For over a decade, we have represented immigrants before the many branches of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of State (DOS), including United States Citizenship Services (USCIS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration Court, and US Consulates around the world.

Non-Immigrant Visas (I-129) allow a person to live and work, study, or perform in the United States for a temporary basis up to 1, 3, or 5 years.  Non-Immigrant Visas include Professionals (H-1B), Executives and Managers (L-1), Traders (E-1), Investors (E-2), Australians (E-3), Students (F-1), Extraordinary Ability in Athletics, Arts, Business, Education, Motion Picture, or Science (O-1), Entertainment Groups, Athletes, or Teams (P-1), Culturally-Unique Performers (P-3), NAFTA Countries (TN), and Tourist (B-1/B-2).

Immigrant Visas lead to Legal Permanent Residency (the “Green Card”).  Legal Permanent Residents may live and work in the United States indefinitely.  Family-based petitions (I-130) allow US Citizens or US Legal Permanent Residents to bring over family members including spouses, children, parents, or siblings.  Employment-based petitions (I-140) include Permanent Labor Certification (PERM), Extraordinary Ability in Athletics, Arts, Business, Education, Motion Picture or Science (EB-11), Managers and Executives (EB-12), Professionals with Advanced Degrees (EB-2), National Interest Waiver (EB-2), Skilled Workers (EB-3), and Immigrant Visa Investors (EB-5). Whatever the circumstance, our Miami immigration lawyers will help find a solution that meets your unique needs
